THE 'PET BHARO PROJECT" INDIA- HYDROPONICS TO MITIGATE POVERTY AND HUNGER
 
The Institute of Simplified Hydroponics based in Bangalore, India has launched the "Pet Bharo" (pronounced as "Pate Burrow") in India in Nov 2008. 

The project aims to help people attain sustainability and livelihood by the use of Hydroponic/Soil-less cultivation technology.

The ISH has so far trained more than 400 students from all walks of life in Hydroponics and many of these students have set up their own Hydroponic Gardens.
